Rumor has it that Eddie Johnson is on the verge of signing with Fulham US, errr, Fulham FC for a record MLS transfer fee of $6 million plus. He will join Dempsey, McBride, Bocanegra and Keller on he roster at Craven Cottage. Great move for Johnson, he should get a chance to play, and Fulham [...]

Claude Makelele may be looking for an exit from Chelsea due to decreased playing time, and MLS looks like an option. Not a big name forward, but still, he can dominate matches like no one else from the D-Mid.

Don Garber, when asked about a standard winter season, said it was impossible in most MLS cities due to weather, but it looks like a split season is on tap, with play March to May then August to October, with 2 moths off for international tournaments.

It looks like FC Dallas is set to sign Ricardinho on loan for the rest of the year. A 19 year old forward who has played on many of Brazil’s youth teams, he should do very week at Dallas.

We knew they had a good chance of returning, but it looks like MLS is ready to grant a franchise to the Bay Area without a stadium in place. Currently, with 13 teams, the schedule is out of whack. Looks like the Earthquakes will be back in 2008.
