this week is off to a flying start ... i praise chivas' defense (which had allowed eight goals all season), and it gets smacked 4-0....

it's not all bad for rsl. that was a gem of a trade. i really like findley.

I really thought it about it. RSL is playing much better soccer, and could have easily had all three points last night (how many times have you said that this season) ... but at the end of the day, that 0 looms mighty large.

Having said that, I think the streak -- and the time in the basement -- ends after Sunday.

Jeff

Thanks, fixed the post. I wrote this late at night, and wasn't thinking clearly. I am just so used to RSL losing, it was just habit to write "lost" instead of "tied".

"RSL should have beaten FCD the first week or the season, but lost on a last minute goal by Ruiz."

RSL didn't lose, they tied because of the last minute goal.

Gorky

Kind of like the monkey making better stock picks that the professionals? Hmm, I will think about that. Maybe once the new FIFA comes out, I could just simulate the matches and use those rather than a random pick.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Earlier in the week i predicted 2-0 New York over Toronto and Last night i picked Colorado 2-1 over Houston

L.A. Galaxy 1-3 FC Dallas...LA is depleted and Dallas is doing just enough to stay at the top of the west. Dallas also seems to play better this year when Ruiz isn't in the lineup. Dallas takes home another victory against a skeleton squad.

Chivas USA 1-2 Chicago Fire...Chivas suck on the road and Chicago is playing for their coach to keep his job. Chicago pulls out another win for the home fans.

New York Red Bulls 2-3 D.C. United...NY will be tired after so many games and alot of traveling...D.C. is not a solid team yet but they are getting there. D.C. wins in a shootout.

Houston Dynamo 2-2 Columbus Crew...a team that is up and down vs. a team that can tie anyone in this league...Houston will show that they still have some offense even though they are missing key players. Columbus will scrap by and grab another point.

How about you actually do random picks every week and see how they stack up?
